Battery Monitor for Vision Pro 1.5

The Battery Monitor application offers a streamlined solution for monitoring the battery levels of visionOS, iPadOS, and iOS devices from other Apple devices. For users of the Apple Vision Pro (AVP), this tool addresses the common inconvenience of needing to don the headset solely to check its battery status.

Once installed, the app seamlessly synchronizes battery levels across all devices linked to your iCloud account. Users simply need to install and launch the app on one device, and battery information will automatically appear on any other compatible devices where the app is installed. The current platforms supported include:

• iOS
• iPadOS
• macOS
• (watchOS support is forthcoming)

The application also features a selection of Home Screen widgets, allowing users to view battery levels at a glance without opening the app. Additional widget styles are anticipated in future updates.

It is important to note that, for privacy reasons, Apple restricts battery level reporting to 5% increments, meaning the app will display battery levels rounded to the nearest 5%. Typically, battery information is refreshed every 10 minutes; however, due to power management considerations, updates can sometimes lag by up to 30 minutes. This precaution helps ensure that monitoring your device’s battery does not inadvertently lead to its depletion.
